Dr. Faulkner is the Director of the Clinical Research Program in the Division of Plastic Surgery at Emory University. She earned her MD from the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California and her MPH in Quantitative Methods from the Harvard School of Public Health. She completed a general surgery residency at the University of Southern California, a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and a reconstructive/aesthetic breast surgery fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
She is board certified in general surgery and plastic surgery. Her primary clinical focus is aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breasts and body, while her research interests include clinical outcomes, quality improvement, and health services research in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
From 2015-2021, prior to joining the Emory faculty, Dr. Faulkner served as Director of Quality and Safety for the Division of Plastic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, Chief of Plastic Surgery at Mass General Brigham Salem Hospital, and Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School.
