Farzad Nahai, M.D.
Farzad R. Nahai, M.D. is a board-certified plastic surgeon who has been in practice in Atlanta since 2004 and enjoys the full spectrum of plastic surgery of the face, breast, and body in addition to injectables like Botox and facial fillers. Dr. Nahai is located at The Center for Plastic Surgery at MetroDerm, P.C. on Johnson’s Ferry Road in Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Nahai grew up in Atlanta, and graduated from Emory University, and attended Emory Medical School. After completing full training in general surgery, Dr. Nahai was a surgeon for the Navajo Nation in New Mexico. Next, he completed plastic surgery training at the University of California in San Francisco before returning to Atlanta where he completed the Aesthetic and Oculoplastic fellowship at Paces and the Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery fellowship at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Nahai is a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, The Rhinoplasty Society, and the Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons. He also has hospital privileges at Northside and Emory St. Joseph’s hospitals.
Stanley Okoro, M.D.
Dr. Okoro became a surgeon at Emory University in Atlanta Georgia. He completed a rigorous five year training program in Surgery at Emory University after graduating with honors from Meharry Medical College. After his training at Emory, he joined the US Navy and served as the Chief of General Surgery at the US Naval Hospital Great Lakes for four years. While at Great Lakes, he established and served as the director of the Breast Care Center. He also established and served as the director of the endoscopic and minimally invasive surgery unit.
Dr. Okoro additional three year training program in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. While are UT San Antonio. He currently is on staff at ASUCH Surgery Center, Emory MidTown Hospital, Northside Hospital, WellStar Kennestone Hospital, WellStar Cobb Hospital, and WellStar Windy Hill Hospital.
Nicholas Jones, M.D.
Dr. Nicholas Jones is an Atlanta-based aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon. Having completed his training in both general and plastic surgery, he is double-board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.
After completing his general surgery residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Dr. Jones received advanced fellowship training in microsurgery from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Before completing his plastic surgery residency at the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Jones worked a year as a trauma surgeon. Following his prestigious fellowship, he did a clerkship with Dr. Marcelo Araujo, a world-renowned cosmetic surgeon in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to enhance and refine his aesthetic technique.
A renowned African-American plastic surgeon in Atlanta, Dr. Jones is an active member of the plastic surgery community, both nationally and locally. He has guest lectured at the Morehouse School of Medicine and Emory School of Medicine; presented at regional and national plastic surgery conferences; has been featured on several national and local TV & radio shows, including ‘Beyond the Pole’, & ‘The Rickey Smiley Morning Show;’ and has published articles in several peer-reviewed medical journals.
His modification on a popular surgical technique, entitled, “Transoral Buccinator-Pexy,” was published in the distinguished Annals of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Jones holds membership with the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons. He also has served as a board member for a local Susan G. Komen chapter, dedicated to breast cancer research and education.
Heather Faulkner, M.D.
Dr. Faulkner was born and raised in New York City. She attended the University of Southern California for college, medical school, and general surgery residency, and is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. During her general surgery residency, Dr. Faulkner spent two years in Boston. In the first year she earned a Masters in Public Health degree from the Harvard School of Public Health. She spent the second year as a Harvard Medical School research fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital in the Department of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Faulkner then attended plastic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. She completed a fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, specializing in reconstructive and aesthetic (cosmetic) breast surgery.
Dr. Faulkner was a member of the plastic surgery faculty of Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School for seven years prior to joining the Emory Plastic Surgery faculty in October 2021. She is the Director of Clinical Research in the Division of Plastic surgery at Emory. She is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, as well as many other national professional organizations. She has authored research publications and given lectures on her research nationally and internationally (under her maiden name Rosen and married name Faulkner) on pediatric and adult plastic surgery as well as health disparities and patient safety. Her clinical areas of focus are breast surgery (cosmetic and reconstructive); gender-affirming chest and breast surgery; and body contouring after childbirth, weight loss, and aging (such as abdominoplasty and labiaplasty). She also performs non-surgical facial rejuvenation with injectables. Dr. Faulkner is committed to excellence in patient care and patient safety. She is detail-oriented and enjoys providing personalized state-of-the art care to her patients.
