About

Dr. Stanley A. Okoro is a double board-certified plastic surgeon and the Founder and Medical Director of Georgia Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and AmaChi MedSpa in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Widely known as the “Bow Tie Plastic Surgeon,” Dr. Okoro has built his practice around delivering sophisticated, individualized aesthetic surgery with an emphasis on natural-appearing results, patient safety, and advanced surgical technology.

Board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Okoro specializes in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. His areas of expertise include facelift and neck lift surgery, eyelid rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, breast lift, breast reduction, abdominoplasty, liposuction, body contouring, gynecomastia surgery, and advanced buttock contouring and revision procedures.

Dr. Okoro has particular expertise in advanced body contouring and minimally invasive skin-tightening technologies, including radiofrequency-assisted liposuction and skin contraction. He is an InMode Certified Trainer for technologies including BodyTite, FaceTite, Morpheus8, and Quantum RF, and frequently educates other physicians on emerging techniques in aesthetic surgery and energy-assisted body contouring.

His clinical interests also include complex revision body contouring, including BBL revision, buttock reduction, and reshaping following previous cosmetic surgery. He has contributed to the medical literature in this area, including publication on evolving trends in buttock aesthetics and BBL reversal.

Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Okoro served in the United States Navy and was Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he cared for military personnel and their families. His extensive background in reconstructive surgery continues to inform the precision, safety, and anatomical approach he brings to cosmetic surgery.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Okoro is actively involved in organized medicine, physician education, and professional leadership. He has served as President of the Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons and holds leadership roles in national and international medical organizations. He is also deeply committed to humanitarian medicine and has participated in and led medical and surgical missions providing care and surgical capacity building in underserved communities.

Dr. Okoro’s approach to aesthetic surgery combines surgical experience, advanced technology, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to understanding each patient’s individual goals. His objective is not simply to change appearance, but to create balanced, refined, and natural-looking results that help patients feel confident in themselves.
